Set Up Performance Monitoring

Monitoring works best after you already have a candidate, collaborator, or watchlist target.

Best-fit scenarios

  • Ongoing shortlist observation
  • Collaboration follow-up
  • Campaign review and trend watching

Recommended flow

  1. Decide which campaign videos or collaboration assets you want to track
  2. Create a monitoring project first
  3. Add one or more video URLs as monitoring tasks
  4. Review task lists and project summaries over time
  5. Use the task list to identify the right task_id when you need one specific video's history
  6. Use monitor history with daily or hourly granularity when you need ordered performance points
  7. Feed the monitoring result back into shortlist or campaign decisions

By default, monitor add-task monitors for 60 days unless you set a different monitor_days value.

Current public workflow

The current public surface is a project-based video monitoring workflow, not just a future direction.

What monitoring helps answer

  • Which creators are still worth watching
  • Which creators show unusual changes over time
  • Which creators should move into the next collaboration review

When history matters more than the latest snapshot

  • Use task history when you need trend points rather than only the current task state
  • Reuse the returned task_id instead of re-identifying the same video each time
  • Preserve creator identity fields from monitor task rows when they are present, especially creator_id, creator_name, channel_handle, and channel_url
